PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
President – Construction Risk Solutions, Inc. 2006 - Present
Responsibilities include serving as a consultant to the construction industry and brokers with large construction clients. I provide account evaluation to identify areas of risk and design programs to eliminate or manage them. I provide litigation management services for large multiparty suits including resolution of coverage disputes.
Chief Risk Officer – Albert D. Seeno Construction Co. 1986 - 2006
Responsibilities included developing, implementing and managing all Risk Management activities for one of the largest privately owned residential builder, developer and property managers. Risk Management activities including but not limited to claims, claims investigation, litigation, contract, contract review, human resources, lease review, safety, warranty programs and all insurance programs. Jon’s primary responsibility was safeguarding the owners’ assets while protecting the general public against loss or damage.
Regional Claims Manager – Wausau Insurance Company 1964 - 1986
Responsibilities included managing multi-line claims for California, Hawaii and Nevada with specialty in large commercial and residential contractors. During employment with Wausau, Jon held the positions of adjuster trainee, multi-line claim adjuster, workers’ compensation claim supervisor, field claims manager; workers compensation claims manager and regional claims manager. Jon assisted in designing and marketing coverage for commercial insurance customers, setting up responsive customer service programs for contractor clients and insuring that losses were thoroughly and promptly investigated. In litigation cases, Jon was instrumental in hiring highly skilled experts and attorneys to handle complex construction related cases and mitigating final outcome for the client as well as the insurance company.
